Your Fundraising BFF

Rachel Muir, a vibrant nonprofit fundraising consultant, smiles confidently in a navy blazer over a sparkling shirt, showcasing her fun personality amid a bright, engaging background.

I started my first nonprofit at 26 — in the living room of my apartment, with $500 and a credit card.

The mission? Empowering girls in STEM. At Girlstart I went on to raise over $10 million and land on Oprah, CNN and the Today Show.

My business cards said "Fearless Leader." I meant it.

Since then, I’ve led an online fundraising consulting practice for a major software company, managed major gift portfolios for some of the country’s largest nonprofits, and become one of the most sought-after fundraising speakers in the sector.

I’m a winner of Oprah Winfrey's Use Your Life Award, a three-time Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, and was named Outstanding Fundraising Executive of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

I hold a CFRE and Certificate in Philanthropic Psychology with Distinction from the Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy.

I have served on numerous boards…and have the scars and t-shirts to prove it.
